Barton-Aschman Associates retained Regina Webster & Associates as a subconsultant to provide traffic engineering services for the new Midway Airport Terminal building and roadway improvements. Regina Webster & Associates developed 10-year forecasts based on airport planning inputs and a survey of modal choices. The firm then assigned forecasted traffic to the future road network, and performed analyses to evaluate access into and out of the relocated Midway Terminal on the surrounding major arterials.

Analysis results were used to determine needed roadway improvements. The Transit 7f Model was used to determine network delays based on different alternate network configurations. Intersection Design Studies for the five intersections on Cicero Avenue at the airport were also developed.
